Sun Club is a funky indie rock band from Baltimore, MD. They recently signed to ATO Records and released their debut full-length album The Dongo Durango October 30, 2015. The lead single, "Tropicollar Lease," has been getting a lot of airplay on college and public radio. They are currently on tour with The Districts. Bands You Should Know - Volume 5 - Sohn
A lot of you probably don't know this about me, but I am I huge R&B fan. I really dig contemporary R&B, aka hipster R&B. Sohn, in my opinion, is one of the best new artists in this genre. Sohn, real name Christopher Taylor, is an English producer from Vienna, Austria. Taylor previously recorded under the moniker Trouble Over Tokyo, and you should definitely give that a listen as well. Check out the music video for the single "Bloodflows" off his Sohn debut album Tremors.

Bands You Should Know - Volume 4 - Solence
I went to that Blindside show in NYC Saturday the 10th. They played their critically acclaimed album Silence in its entirety for the first time ever. They brought along three Swedish bands to open for them. Solence blew me away by how good they are. Progressive metal at its finest. To borrow from their website...
Formed during 2012 by five young, multi-instrumentalist and music students from Sweden, with shared visions and musical backgrounds, Solence’s mission has been to combine their production skills, ideas and influences to create a modern, young and attractive sound, highlighting epic choruses, powerful melodies and tight grooves.
They have released several cover songs. the most popular being their cover of "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons. They have also covered Coldplay and Fall Out Boy. They just recently released their debut original single "Pump More Life." I love all their songs and can't wait to hear more. Check out their cover of "Immortals" by Fall Out Boy below.

Bands You Should Know - Volume 3 - Glasvegas
Glasvegas is an indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland active since 2003. They released several critically acclaimed singles in the UK before signing to Columbia. They have released two full length album and one EP on Columbia. Later...When the TV Turns to Static is their latest album released September 2, 2013 on BMG. "Magazine," in my opinion, is the best song on the album. The whole album is pretty great though.
